Who is behind it

Rhino Entertainment Group does not publish its owners. Its casinos are Casino Days, Lucky Spins and Buusti Kasino, plus smaller Kahnawake-licensed sites. In 2026 the group split up its consumer business. Betsson, the Swedish listed gambling group, bought the Canadian-licensed part and some technology. Trade press reported that the rest went to Alta Group, which had not confirmed it. Our data still shows Rhino as the owner of the non-Canadian Casino Days site until a new owner is confirmed.

Licence and what it means for you

Play Well Media Limited holds Estonian organising licence HKL000395, valid until 10 January 2028, and permit HKT000068. Our data lists the company as based in Malta or Cyprus, which we have not verified. Estonia's tax and customs board, EMTA, supervises the licence, so players in Estonia can complain to EMTA and use its self-exclusion register.

Canadian players use separate regulated sites. In Ontario, Casino Days is listed by iGaming Ontario, and in Alberta by the provincial regulator. Elsewhere in Canada, Rhino brands have used Kahnawake permits. Each market has its own rules, so check which site you are on.

Same owner often means the same terms, the same support team and the same payout rules. A self-exclusion at one brand may not cover its sister sites.
