Does self-exclusion cover sister sites?
Only through a national scheme. A national self-exclusion scheme such as GamStop, Spelpaus or ROFUS covers every site licensed in that country, so it covers a sister site only when that site holds the same national licence. Closing your account at one casino does not exclude you from its sister sites. Sister sites with another licence are not covered.
Example, as of 26 Oct 2026: GamStop covers 12 of the 31 active brands of Entain plc.
Why a sister site is often not covered
A sister site is a casino or betting site with the same owner. One owner group often runs many brands, and the brands can hold different licences: a UK licence for one site, a Malta or Curaçao licence for another.
A national scheme follows the licence, not the owner. GamStop covers sites licensed by the Gambling Commission. It does not cover a sister site that runs under a licence from another country, even when the same company owns both.
An exclusion that you set at one site, in your account, usually covers that site only. Check the terms of each site: they say what the exclusion covers.

There is no single US list. Each state that licenses online casinos or betting runs its own self-exclusion list, and it covers only sites licensed in that state.
Example: in New Jersey, the Division of Gaming Enforcement runs the list. Online sign-up excludes you from all internet gaming and sports wagering in the state, for at least one or five years.

How to exclude yourself from all sister sites
- Use the national scheme of the country where you live. It covers every site licensed there, whoever owns it.
- Look up the owner of the site you used. The owner page lists its sister sites and which national schemes cover them.
- For sister sites that no national scheme covers, ask each site to close your account and exclude you.
- Blocking software and a block on gambling payments at your bank can help with sites that no scheme covers.
- Talk to a help line. Most of the help lines on this page are free, and many let you stay anonymous.

Questions and answers
Does GamStop cover all sister sites?
No. GamStop covers sites with a licence from the Gambling Commission. A sister site with only a licence from another country is not covered, even when the same group owns it.
If I self-exclude at one casino, am I excluded from its sister sites?
Not always. An exclusion in your account at one site usually covers that site only. A national scheme covers all sites licensed in its country, whoever owns them.
How do I exclude myself from all online casinos?
Register with the national scheme of your country. Then ask sites that the scheme does not cover to close your account, and think about blocking software and a gambling block at your bank.
Why are some sites not covered by a national scheme?
A national scheme covers only sites licensed in its country. Sites with an offshore licence, such as Curaçao or Anjouan, are not part of any national scheme.
Where can I get help with gambling?
Talk to a help line in your country. In Great Britain, the National Gambling Helpline is free and open 24 hours a day. The list on this page has help lines for other countries.
How we count
We count active brands of each owner group (own brands and white-label sites). A scheme covers a brand when the brand holds a licence from that scheme's country in our data. Licence data comes from regulator registers. A brand can be covered by more than one scheme. A site may have a licence that is missing from our data, so check the register of the regulator before you rely on a count.
