Who is behind it
OLG is Ontario's provincial lottery and gaming agency. As a Crown agency, it belongs to the province, not to private shareholders, so there is no parent company or investor above it. OLG.ca is its single online site for casino games, lottery tickets and PROLINE+ sports bets. The old address proline.olg.ca now redirects into olg.ca.
Licence and what it means for you
Ontario's online market has two routes. Private operators sign an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario and are listed in its regulated market. OLG.ca is on that list too, but iGaming Ontario notes that it runs under OLG's own conduct and management instead. For players, OLG.ca is a government-run site that serves Ontario.
OLG.ca is not aimed at players outside Ontario. Our data shows no licence in other Canadian provinces or abroad, and no Finnish licence.
