On 4 February 2026 the Illinois Gaming Board sent cease-and-desist letters to RealPrize and LoneStar Casino. The Board said it believes the sites run illegal online casinos in Illinois and told them to block Illinois users or stop offering prizes of value. These letters went out in a batch of more than 60 sent together with the Illinois Attorney General. Neither action came with a fine.
