Wildz Group says it received a Finnish gambling licence on 15 October 2026 (not yet confirmed in public by the Finnish Police Board). The Finnish-language footer of Chipz, read in October 2026, names Granturo Malta Ltd, company number C107733, at the Birkirkara office that Rootz uses. Granturo also runs Caxino, Wheelz and Spinz, three brands that Rootz launched. No group filing names Chipz, so we mark the link to Rootz as reported. Rootz is privately held. Whether Granturo is a restructuring inside the group or a new owner has not been made public.
Licence and what it means for you
The Malta Gaming Authority issued licence MGA/B2C/1079/2025 to Granturo Malta Ltd in September 2025. Chipz is aimed at Finland: Finland is its only market in our data. It does not hold a Finnish licence today, so a player in Finland is protected by Maltese rules, not Finnish ones.
