Who is behind it

Before 2021, Speedy Casino belonged to Hero Gaming. The Speedy business dates from 2016 and has two companies, Speedy Ltd and Speedy Originals Ltd. In August 2021 Paf bought both. Paf was founded in 1966 and belongs to the Government of Åland, the self-governing island region of Finland. So the chain is short: Speedy Originals Ltd, then the Speedy group, then Paf as the public owner at the top. One trade report from the sale still links the brand to Hero Gaming, which our data treats as the former owner.

Licence and what it means for you

Spelinspektionen, the Swedish regulator, lists Speedy Originals Ltd under licence 25Si2605 with two register entries: online gaming (715773283) and betting (715773284). The current period began on 26 April 2026 and ends in April 2031. On the Swedish site you must choose a deposit limit, you can get a bonus only on your first visit, and a Spelpaus block stops play here as on every other Swedish-licensed site.

Our data also lists Finland as a Speedy Casino market, but it shows no Finnish licence for Speedy Originals Ltd. In Finland, Veikkaus keeps the exclusive right to online casino games until the new Gambling Act takes effect. Paf itself is reported among the companies that applied for a Finnish licence; our data does not say whether that would cover Speedy Casino.
