Who is behind it
White Hat Gaming was founded in 2012 and is registered in Malta under company number C73232. It is a platform and white-label company: it runs its own casinos, and partner brands such as Dream Vegas, Jackpot Village and Casimba say in their footers that White Hat Gaming Limited manages them. In July 2026 its game studio, White Hat Studios, was agreed to be sold to Merkur Group. The platform business, which runs Vauhti, was not part of that deal.
Licence and what it means for you
A player in Finland uses Vauhti under the Maltese licence MGA/B2C/370/2017. Maltese rules then apply to complaints, player funds and safer-gambling tools. The UK licence covers only customers in Great Britain.
Vauhti has no Finnish licence. Veikkaus keeps the exclusive right to online casino games until the new Gambling Act takes effect. Our Finnish licence tracker has no application from White Hat Gaming. The new Act also bans affiliate and influencer marketing.
