Who controls evoke
evoke plc is the former 888 Holdings, renamed in May 2024, with its head office in Gibraltar. Its shares are listed in London, and no parent company holds it in our data.
In 2026 it agreed to be bought by Bally's Intralot (Euronext Athens: BYLOT). Shareholders approved the deal on 17 August 2026. The Gibraltar court sanction was expected between the fourth quarter of 2026 and the first quarter of 2027, with a long-stop date of 5 September 2027. Until then evoke remains the top company of its group.

evoke bought William Hill's business outside the US from Caesars in July 2022, so William Hill and Mr Green are sister sites of 888casino and 888poker. The UK brands run under separate licensed companies: 888 UK Limited (888poker, 777) and WHG (International) Limited (William Hill). In Romania, New Gambling Solutions S.R.L. runs 888-branded sites and local brands. In October 2026 evoke sold 80% of 888AFRICA to GiG Software. All are own brands; we list no white-label sites.
