Who is behind it
The kolikkopelit.com footer, read on 15 October 2026, says the site is run by Rol Malta Ltd of Sliema, Malta. The same company appears in the footers of two other Finnish-facing Kindred sites, Unibet's Finnish site and Casinohuone. That shared footer is the basis for the Kindred link; we found no group filing that lists Rol Malta Ltd.
Kindred started as Unibet in 1997, and FDJ United took it over in October 2024. Since then Kindred has been leaving markets where it has no local licence, such as Norway and Poland. Our data therefore marks the current status of Kolikkopelit as unclear.
Licence and what it means for you
Rol Malta Ltd holds MGA licence MGA/B2C/1031/2023, issued on 26 January 2024 and valid until 25 January 2034. A Malta licence lets the company offer games under Maltese rules, but it is not a Finnish licence. Kolikkopelit is aimed at players in Finland, where Veikkaus still holds the exclusive right to online casino games until the new Gambling Act takes effect.
